Nu Flow Receives ACS Certificate of Sanitary Conformity for #7000 System

Nu Flow's Potable Water Epoxy #7000 System has received the ACS Certificate of Sanitary Conformity in France.

San Diego, CA, October 11, 2014 --( Nu Flow, a world-leading pipe lining manufacturer, installer and distributor announced today that the Potable Water Epoxy #7000 System has received the ACS Certificate of Sanitary Conformity in France.

The ACS Certificate applies to materials in contact with water intended for human consumption.

The Potable Water Epoxy #7000 System is used to restore water flow and prevents corrosion, which would otherwise lead to pinhole leaks. The barrier coating also prevents harmful materials such as lead from leaching into the water.

The testing method used by France is very rigid, showing the superiority of this product as a barrier material.

The migration test carried out according to the standard XPP-41-250-1 do not bring out any anomaly. The results are in accordance with the requirements of the circulars DGS/VS4 n° 200/232 of the 27th of April 2000.

The certificate states that the water network can be put back into service after the epoxy has cured for at least 48 hours. The chemical formulation has also been checked by the laboratory and conforms to the positive lists.
