Justin Hannah's Film "Consignment" Wins Best Kentucky Short at the 2014 Autumn Shorts Film Festival

The acclaimed short film "Consignment," produced by Manic Baby Studio and written and directed by Kentucky filmmaker Justin Hannah, won the award for Best Kentucky Short at the 2014 Autumn Shorts Film Festival.

Lexington, KY, October 13, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The acclaimed short film "Consignment," written and directed by Kentucky filmmaker Justin Hannah and produced by Manic Baby Studio, screened at the 2014 Autumn Shorts Film Festival on September 20, where it took home the award for Best Kentucky Short.

The Autumn Shorts Film Festival took place September 15-20 in Somerset, Kentucky and London, Kentucky. Over the course of five days, the Festival screened 63 domestic and international films, hand-picked from over 900 movies submitted from all over the world.

Described in reviews as "an alluring, multi-layered film experience" and "a beautifully realized, thought provoking short film," Justin Hannah's "Consignment" is a stylish period drama starring Abbra Smallwood and Margaret Wuertz, with cinematography by Lee Clements and music by Robert Casal.

This is the third award that Manic Baby Studio's "Consignment" has taken home during an impressive film festival run, having previously won the award for Best Short Film at the 2013 World Independent Film Expo, and the award for Most Original Film at the 2013 Floyd Film Festival.
