30 Countries Share Perspective of Music

Someone challenged British American Conductor Composer Stephen P Brown to expose his music to 150 countries of the world. Instead, people from 30 countries are being invited to participate.

Tampa Bay, FL, October 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- British American Conductor Composer Stephen P Brown has embarked on a quest to compose 150 new pieces of music by his 50th birthday, and he was challenged to gather people from 150 countries to review them.

Brown's quest began last year and will continue until the year 2020, so when he completed his 30th composition in the quest he shared his dreams with an accountability group of questers under the guidance of Chris Guillebeau, who recently completed an 11-year quest to visit every country in the world. "When the #PsalmQuest is complete, I'd like all 150 pieces to be performed in five countries in a sort of touring Festival of Psalms," said Brown.

Another member of the group suggested Brown perform one of the pieces for people from 150 different countries to see what their various perspectives of it are.

The resources required for such an event are beyond Brown's reach at the moment, but instead thought he might be able to get people from 30 different countries to comment on his 30th #PsalmQuest composition.

He created a special web page and issued invitations all over the world via social media and email, inviting comments. There is even a link to a tracking sheet to see how much progress is being made.

At the time of writing, people from 5 different countries have submitted comments, and 25 more representatives are invited to comment. It is possible for those not originally invited to jump in and submit a comment first, and have their name recorded in history as participants on Brown's #PsalmQuest.
