Howl on the Green

Halloween event on Duluth Town Green.

Duluth, GA, October 16, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Nothing gets you in the spirit of Halloween like creepy crawlers, fun costumes and yummy treats. All of which will be at this year’s “Howl on Green” on Duluth Town Green in celebration of the spooky holiday.

Howl on Green is an annual event focused on bringing families together in a safe and family friendly environment. It also falls on the last day of Food Truck Friday in Duluth.

“Residents are in for a good time. Let’s just say we are really pushing the envelope this year,” said Event Coordinator Maggie Waddell.

The festivities kick off at 6pm with activities for kids such as inflatables, games and trick or treating. At 8pm, there will be a Halloween costume contest for kids, adults and pets. The event will then turn into fright at 9pm which lends itself to a more mature audience with activities consisting of hairy creatures, live entertainment and of course fire.

Residents are in for a treat at this free event. Anyone interested in covering this event, please contact Amanda Leiba at 678-957-7271.
