)-- Terramor Homes, a premier local home building company in the Triangle, won the Gold Award in the highest possible competing category for its Old Keith Estates “Jackson C” home in the 49th Annual Wake County Parade of Homes. Judges chose the Terramor Home over eight other competitors in the $1,000,000 - $1,484,000 category. The $1 million home features hardwood floors throughout the first floor, a stunning vaulted screened porch and outdoor entertaining areas with views and access to Falls Lake. Additionally, the home includes a custom gourmet kitchen with a large island, granite counter tops and top-of-the-line appliances and both master and guest suites on the main level.
The Wake County Parade of Homes, hosted by the Home Builders Associations of Raleigh-Wake County and Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties, is one of the largest judged home tours in the country. This year’s event featured more than 250 new homes throughout the Triangle open to the public for three weekends in October. Homes are divided into price categories and are judged by teams of builders and new home professionals from other counties. Judging is based on criteria such as floor plan, design, craftsmanship and quality. Gold, silver and bronze awards are given in each category.
In addition, Terramor Homes won the Silver Award in the $870,000 and up category in the Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties Parade of Homes for their Lystra Preserve “Jackson A” home. This five-bedroom home is situated on 12.28 acres and features a spacious gourmet kitchen, first-floor master suite, and a Thermador Professional appliance package.
The Wake County Parade of Homes is open to the public for one more weekend – Friday, Oct. 17 through Sunday, Oct. 19 from noon to 5 p.m. Find out more about all Terramor Homes entries in this year’s Parade of Homes at http://triangleparadeofhomes.com.
