New Indie Film to be Screened at Finch Studio Space

Nyack, NY, October 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- “Not Another Bad Horror Flick,” a new independent film by Bridget Machete, will be screened at 2:00p.m., Saturday, October 25, at the Finch Studio Space in Nyack, New York.

Following the screening, several members of the cast and production company will participate in a Q&A session with the audience. The screening is open to the public. Admission is $1, optional donation is $30. Tickets can be purchased at the door. All proceeds will go to the film promotion and festival submissions.

"Not Another Bad Horror Flick" is a parody of the 1980s “bad” horror films that features Brittany and her friends on the eve of Halloween. Brittany is under a lot of pressure, her family secret is about to get discovered. Bridget Machete, the producer of the film, said "If you love it, thank you. If you hate it, thank you for getting the point....it's so bad, it's funny."

Machete also directed the film and it was produced by Machete Media Productions, a production company that also made a sci-fi horror "Frostbite" and is currently in post-production of historical documentary "Asburied In Time.” The cast features a well-known by horror community “scream queen” Genoveva Rossi, who appeared in over 55 horror films.
