TraceGains Presentation at Food Safety Consortium Scheduled for November 17th

Westminster, CO, November 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Gary Nowacki, TraceGains’ CEO and Christina Petrlik-Siegel of TIC Gums will co-present on Tuesday, November 17th a presentation titled, “Desk Audits versus On-site Audits of Suppliers, Supplier Qualification & Management.” Petrlik-Siegel will be discussing how GFSI-approved audit schemes and other audits require that companies to send or make available documentation to the auditor beforehand. The desk audit looks at documentation rather than practices. A desk audit enables the auditor to then go onsite and better assess food quality and safety system processes for which certification is sought.

TraceGains, a leader in supplier document management in the food industry, will present and exhibit (Booth #110) at the Food Safety Consortium from November 17-18 in Schaumburg, IL.

Petrlik-Siegel has a variety of industry experience spanning 39 years in the Chemical and Food Processing industry sectors. Quality Management position responsibilities included managing a variety of regulatory and third party audits and leading her facility to become the first location of her company to receive Organic and SQF Certifications.

Nowacki will also sponsor a roundtable luncheon event titled, “Ask The Experts: Supplier Qualification & Management Discussion Group” also on November 17th from 1:00-1:45 pm.
