Tampa, FL, November 07, 2014 --(PR.com)-- ReEmployAbility, the largest national provider of specialty early return-to-work (RTW) services and transitional employment programs, will participate in the upcoming 23rd National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo (NWCDC) to introduce its Transition2Work® program for non-occupational disabilities. Company representatives will be exhibiting at booth 1610 to showcase the proprietary Return-to-Work program as an employer solution for reducing workers’ compensation and disability claim duration.

ReEmployAbility’s Transition2Work program places injured workers at local nonprofit organizations to perform light duty work when their employer cannot accommodate their physical restrictions on-site. The program has been offered nationwide to supplement workers’ compensation Return-to-Work programs since 2007 and has built a network of over 20,000 local and national non-profit organization partners that can quickly and safely return injured workers with modified duty work restrictions to meaningful work. Transition2Work provides benefits to the injured worker, company, and the community, resulting in cost savings to on the claim, reducing the average time of the claim, and helping injured workers get back to work while making a positive contribution to their community.

“Transition2Work is a perfect complement to employers’ existing Return-to-Work programs and this year we launch our light duty accommodation service to include all forms of short term job modification needs of employers,” said Debra Livingston, co-founder of ReEmployAbility, adding, “The program has traditionally been offered for workers’ compensation programs. Our clients are increasingly seeking comprehensive solutions to not only accommodate occupational injuries, but also temporary non-occupational disabilities. Those clients who are already using Transition2Work for their Integrated Disability programs are experiencing excellent results, including positive feedback from their employees, which is a defining factor for any successful Return-to-Work program. As a leading event focusing on both workers’ compensation and disability management, the NWCDC is the right place for us to give introduction to Transition2Work for all injuries – both occupational and non-occupational.”

The NWCDC is a three-day event taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 19 through 21, 2014. The conference, now in its 23rd year, is attended by over 260 vendors and 2,000 industry professionals from across the United States and considered to be a leading training event for workers’ compensation and disability management industries.
