Cleveland, OH, November 15, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- Sister singing/song-writing duo Diana and Elissa Coso (DeLissana) received exciting news from their Grammy Award-Winning Producer/Arranger Pablo "Chino" Nunez, that they made the final pre-nomination ballot in multiple categories for the 57th Grammy Awards. Their album "Embrace-Abrazo-Abbraccio" was submitted to The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (NARAS), scrutinized by music industry experts, and received nods for consideration in the Grammy Awards slated for February 8, 2015 in Los Angeles.
Elissa, an Executive Assistant at the law firm of Buckley King, and her sister, Diana, are extremely honored to be recognized for this musical achievement and accolades after singing together since they were kids. They've not only performed in countless local spots, but are performers/musical directors of The Patriot Tour (USO), and sung in venues from Balboa Park in San Diego to Camp Lejeune, NC. "Our heads are spinning and hearts are pounding with the thrill of making this prestigious list," said Elissa. To which Diana added, "Not only has it been a joy to sing and perform as sisters, but it's been our life-long dream to have our music heard and loved. Now we are looking for the votes so we can head to Los Angeles. We are so over-the-moon!"
Receiving over 20,000 submissions each year, NARAS has the monumental task of giving each submission a thorough review until it whittles the list down to the final pre-nomination roster. It is from this list that the NARAS members cast their votes, and the top vote-getters are derived. Votes are based on quality, as opposed to sales chart performance, friendships or other alliances.
