Mooresville Christmas Parade 2014

Mooresville, NC, November 22, 2014 --(PR.com)-- It's almost Christmas time again and the 70th annual Mooresville Christmas parade is coming soon. On Tuesday, November 25th at 3:30 the parade will begin to roll down Main St. in downtown Mooresville. This wonderful event is free to the public and is sure to be lots of fun. Be sure to bring your chairs and blankets and arrive early for a good seat.

This year, Alford Realty Group will be in the parade and will apparently be bringing someone famous with her. Lisa Alford with Alford Realty Group stated, "We are so excited to get to see all of you on this fun filled occasion. We will be handing out candy and bringing along a well known friend through the parade - be sure not to miss it!"

This parade has been a Mooresville tradition since 1944. The local schools release the children early on this day so they can come out and enjoy the parade too. The streets are always packed with locals and visitors enjoying the parade. Generations have enjoyed the numerous floats, dancers, marching bands and entertainment groups sharing their holiday spirit with the crowd. At the end of the parade the big man himself - Santa always makes an appearance too.
