Northwest Washington Mother/Daughter Duo Release Christmas CD to Raise Money for Animal Shelter

Animal shelters scramble to cover costs during the holidays and cold winter. Wanting to do their part to help, a daughter-mother duo, from Washington state have produced a Christmas CD to sell and raise donation funds as well as serve as advocates for animal welfare.

Seattle, WA, November 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- When Northwest country singer-songwriters Laurie and Callie Lewis realized the huge issue about winter and shelters they decided to produce a beautiful 15-song Christmas CD called Acappella Christmas. The CD is full of favorite songs, humor and a few surprises, creating a way for these two gals to do their part to help animals at their local Humane Society and inspire other during the holidays to give.

It was teen daughter, Callie, that came up with the idea of recording acappella rather than their usual full production. Both ladies, seasoned musicians/singers opted to record the whole project with only vocal instruments to deliver a caroling energy. The Lewis ladies deliver a fresh, live show presence to old familiar holiday songs, infused with light-hearted humor.
