Frizzell with 3-Peat Win of the Prestigious AMG Heritage Visual Artist of the Year Award

Nashville, TN, November 24, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Nashville's Artist to the Stars, Corey Frizzell, can now add being a three time winner of the Artists Music guild Heritage Award for Visual Artist of the Year to his long list of credits. Frizzell has been honored as The International Academy of Music Arts and Sciences, Inc.'s AMG Award recipient in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

The International Academy of Music Arts and Sciences, Inc. recognize the artistic achievements of select individuals with their AMG Heritage Awards in various categories. This year’s star studded, red carpet event, took place on November 15th in Monroe, North Carolina, hosted by Country Music Star, Billy Gilman, whom also took home the AMG Heritage Award for Mainstream Artist of the Year.

Frizzell, a former Boxing Champion tuned visual artist, is no stranger to the music business, as the nephew of Country Stars, David and Lefty Frizzell, and the son of the youngest singing brother, Allan Frizzell, former husband of Shelly West, he’s come full circle, collaborating with some of music’s biggest names including George Jones, Randy Travis, Willie Nelson, Brad Paisley, Alan Jackson, Mark Newton, Carl Jackson, Mark Chesnutt, Gene Watson and Jerrod Niemann to name a few.

2014 has kept Frizzell busy with portrait commissions by Country Music Legend, Loretta Lynn, album artwork for Bluegrass Stars Mark Newton & Steve Thomas’ IBMA nominated project and a children’s book collaboration with Henry Paul of the hit Country Group, Blackhawk among other projects.
