About Dr. Murtuza Kothawala:
Dr. Murtuza K. Kothawala received his medical degree from the Government Medical College & Hospital in Nagpur, India. While there, he completed his Masters in Pediatrics. He practiced pediatrics in a large hospital for 11 years. During his time as a Pediatrician, he developed a special interest in neurological disorders. He came to the U.S. and completed his pediatric residency at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey. He then completed his fellowship in child neurology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kothawala is board-certified in Pediatrics and Neurology, with special qualification in Child Neurology. His areas of special interest are epilepsy, headaches and neurobehavioral disorders in children.
