Christmas CD Released to Help Animals at Shelter

With a hope to inspire, advocate, and raise funds, mother-daughter release Christmas CD to help local Humane Society.

Bellingham, WA, December 09, 2014 --(PR.com)-- In Northwest Washington, Callie Lewis and her mother Laurie are on a mission. When this singing duo realized they wanted to do something to give back to community during the holidays, they decided to help animals. Learning how hard winter is on animal shelters' budgets, they researched, visited and chose to raise funds for their local Humane Society.

Being singer-songwriters and needing a way to raise funds quickly, the two, Callie (16) and Laurie (52) decided to record an all acappella, warm, fun Christmas CD. Something that people would feel as if the ladies arrived at your home to carol. In making this decision mid-November, the two marathon recorded in 3 nights, then power-mixed and sent it for manufacturing.

Acappella Christmas delivers 15 favorite songs, humor and genuine sincerity. CDs are now being sold online until December 20th. The ladies have set a goal to walk into the Humane Society with their donation on December 23rd.

While there is enormous competition for sales in the sea of commercial Christmas, Callie and Laurie Lewis hope their heart-made project will raise a hefty donation as well as inspire others to get involved with community needs.
