According to research done by consumer consulting firm, Nielsen, confidence levels in consumer spending in the latest quarter of 2014 continued to strengthen in SEA. Nielsen’s Global Survey of Consumer Confidence and Spending Intentions, revealed that consumers in Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines have all become more confident than earlier this year. Each country has risen on Nielsen’s indicator scale, while consumers in Indonesia are in fact the second most confident globally.
