A Level Students Hold Charity Cake Sale

Oswestry, United Kingdom, December 18, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Four A Level students at the Oswestry Campus of Walford and North Shropshire College (WNSC) held a cake sale and raffle in aid of the Salvation Army, the cake sale was held in the Atrium of the Campus over lunchtime recently. The sale was organised by students Rajvir Kaur Kandola and Vickie O’Sullivan, they were also supported by Charlotte Ozanne and Hazel Melling.

All proceeds of the cake sale went to the Salvation Army, Vickie commented on their choice of charity, saying ‘The Salvation Army are very active around Christmas, they give so much helping people up and down the country who are less fortunate than us.’ The stall made money selling homemade biscuits, cupcakes and treacle toffee as well as a £1 raffle, the stall made a total of £83.20.
