Unlike the other work readiness and customer service books written by Jay Goldberg which are for use in training programs; the readership for this book is individuals outside of a formal training program.

How To Get, Keep and Be Well Paid in a Job explains the behaviors and skills valued by employers using examples outside of the workplace to help underscore why businesses value those behaviors and skills. The book also includes a chapter on interviewing that is not available in Jay Goldberg's other work readiness books.
