Loyola University Health System Extends Digisonics OB/GYN PACS and Structured Reporting System Use to New Facilities

Loyola University Health System will implement the Digisonics OB/GYN PACS and Structured Reporting System at two new facilities in their network, the Loyola Center for Health at Oakbrook Terrace and the Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge.

Houston, TX, January 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Digisonics, a leading provider of OB/GYN PACS and Structured Reporting Systems, today announced that Loyola University Health System in Maywood, Ill., will deploy the Digisonics system at two new facilities. Clinicians at the Loyola Center for Health at Oakbrook Terrace and the Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge will utilize the Digisonics PACS and Structured Reporting System to quickly review study images, perform fetal growth analysis, and create OB/GYN reports.

Users will also have full remote reading capabilities via the web, enabling them to stay connected to their OB/GYN ultrasound studies while at home, out of the office or at another facility. Employing the same interface as the local OB/GYN PACS and Structured Reporting workstations, users can sign in to the system with a secure login and password from anywhere at anytime.

OBLink interfaces will streamline connectivity between the Digisonics OB/GYN PACS and Structured reporting System and the facilities’ Philips ultrasound machines. Patient demographics and measurements will be autopopulated directly into the Digisonics OB/GYN ultrasound structured report, saving valuable data entry time and eliminating possible input errors. By employing the Digisonics OB/GYN PACS and Structured Reporting System, the two new facilities will benefit from a streamlined workflow with faster overall turnaround times.
