Registration for Basketball Summer Camps Has Officially Begun

Burtonsville, MD, January 14, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Locally owned RAC Basketball has now posted the dates to its 2015 summer camps. For the second year, a girls’ only camp has been added to the schedule in addition to the coed camps. Another addition is the variety of cities hosting the summer camps. Two more cities have been added this year, Lanham and Laurel, MD.

The full list of cities is: Burtonsville, Lanham, Laurel, Takoma Park, and Washington D.C.

Rochelle Coleman, the founder of RAC Basketball, will continue to run the camps. Coleman has a unique philosophy about youth basketball camps. She believes that children are not given enough chances if they have little experience with the sport. Her main focus is to show the children that they can have fun while improving their skills.

About RAC Basketball
The main objectives of these camps are to strengthen the fundamentals of basketball and help the children improve their mental skills. These skills include problem solving, communication, and leadership. However, the most important objective is to ensure every child is having fun while playing.

About Rochelle Coleman
Coleman is a former college basketball phenomenon (Syracuse University), former professional basketball player (Holland), and current head coach of the Regional and Divisional champions of Paint Branch High School.
