President of TFI Envision Speaks at Westport Rotary Club Luncheon

Westport, CT, January 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Westport Rotary Club invited Elizabeth (Liz) P. Ball, President and Creative Director of TFI Envision, Inc. to speak at their luncheon on January 13, 2015 on the topic of “Fundraising in the Nonprofit World.”

Fundraising is at the core of every nonprofits “to do” list and generally involves non-professionals to assist in raising funds needed to support the organization. “Though I am not a professional fundraiser by any means, I have been involved with fundraising for many different charities throughout my life. The biggest challenge is what I call 'The Big Ask' - people feel uncomfortable asking others to donate or become a sponsor. My experience has helped me develop a useful action plan that I like to share with others,” said Liz.

Liz is the Fundraising Committee Chairperson and on the Board of Directors for Keystone House, Inc., and is actively involved with several other nonprofits both locally and internationally.

The Westport Rotary Club, located in Westport, Connecticut, USA, was chartered in 1924. The 70 members are active in the Westport Community and represent diverse businesses and community organizations. The club raises funds to support a wide range of humanitarian organizations, generally serving the greater Westport area.
