Raleigh, NC, January 30, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- Trig Modern, the furniture, lighting, and interior design store located in downtown Raleigh, is now an official vendor for “Haiku,” the award-winning, modern, minimalist ceiling fan series by Big Ass Fans of Lexington, Kentucky.
Trig Modern is the only furniture store in the Triangle region representing Big Ass Fans. (Yes, that’s the actual name of the manufacturer.)
“Haiku” is the reinvention of the home ceiling fan by a company that began producing large, low-velocity ceiling fan models for non-air-conditioned farms and factories. In 2012 residential demand finally inspired the company to create this award-winning minimalist design series that exceeds Energy Star® requirements by 450 to 750 percent.
Smaller than its predecessors, “Haiku” spans 60 inches in diameter and is made of sustainably harvested Moso bamboo or a durable matrix composite. The airfoils and central motor housing are one single, seamless organic form.
“This fan is so beautiful you may never want to turn it on just so you can stare at it!” said Trig Modern owner and interior designer Bob Drake.
The “Haiku” series joins Trig Modern’s collection of Modern ceiling fans by Minka Aire and The Modern Fan Company.
Trig Modern is located at 328 West Jones Street in downtown Raleigh. For more information, visit www.trigmodern.com or call 919.516.8744.
