SPA NEXUS Organized Seminar for Mobile App Testing Professionals

As a new initiative, company has launched the SPA NEXUS program under which company organizes seminars/workshops on various web & mobile technology topics. The objective of program is to provide a collaborative platform for IT professionals wherein they can enhance their knowledge about various web and mobile technologies.

As a part of this program, the company recently organized a seminar for mobile app testing professionals at the company’s India-based offshore development center. The seminar was organized for working IT professionals who are new to mobile app testing or experienced software testers making the shift.

The seminar was started with current trends in mobile industry and the significance of mobile app testing. The discussion was continued by covering various other aspects such as mobile app types, mobile app architecture, ways of overcoming mobile app testing challenges, characteristics of app quality, mobile app testing types & approach, different between web & mobile attesting, device selection, introduction to mobile app testing tools, etc. The objective of the whole discussion was not only to present the technical aspects, but also to convey the impact of poor app quality on business and, how mobile app testers need to take the required steps to ensure the app quality.

In order to make the seminar more interactive, a workshop on app assessment was also conducted under which, participants were asked to test one eCommerce app on various parameters such as compatibility, functionality, performance, security and usability. The session was very interactive wherein participants shown active participation, and were given an opportunity to interact with their queries & experience. All participants were given certificate of participation for their active involvement.
