New Paltz, NY, February 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Richard P. Brown, MD, and Patricia Gerbarg, MD, award-winning authors and leaders in Integrative Psychiatry, will teach their ground-breaking Breath~Body~Mind workshop “Tame Your Pain” February 20-22, 2015 at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. Mohonk Mountain House, named no. 1 Resort Spa in the USA (Conde Nast Traveler magazine), is a Victorian resort with state-of-the-art spa located on a mountain lake overlooking the Schwangunk Mountains.

The gentle movement and breathing practices of Breath~Body~Mind activate anti-pain, anti-inflammation, and anti-stress effects of the parasympathetic nervous system. Qigong movements enhance circulation and healing. Through Open Focus Attention Training the mind learns how to dissolve emotional and physical pain.
Individuals suffering from stress, back pain, arthritis, sports injuries, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, TMJ (temporomandibular joint pain), inflammatory bowel disease, military combat related injuries, and many other conditions report significant relief after participating in Breath~Body~Mind workshops.
