Agents Selling Long Term Care Insurance Listed Online as Part of AALTCI Website

Insurance agents who sell long term care insurance are registering to be listed on the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance Online Directory.

Los Angeles, CA, February 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Insurance agents and financial advisers who market and sell long term care insurance are signing up to be listed on the nation's largest online director of long term care insurance agents.

"Every day thousands of consumers are looking to compare costs for long term care insurance and looking for an expert who can answer their questions," declares Jesse Slome, executive director of the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance (AALTCI). "Many of them do an online search and the Association's website has become the place they go to find information and to locate local long term care insurance specialists."

"When you do a search for Genworth long term care or AARP long term care, many times you are going to be contacted by an agent who tends to favor one particular long term care insurance solution," Slome notes. "That solution may be the best option for you but it may likely cost quite a bit more than alternative options."

Slome notes that many leading companies including New York Life long term care, Northwestern Mutual long term care, Mutual of Omaha long term care and Transamerica long term care all offer excellent options. "But, there can be significant differences in pricing, in available discounts and even in acceptable health conditions that you'll never learn about simply because you don't know the questions to ask or ways to compare," Slome adds.

The Association's website provides consumers with two options to connect with a long term care insurance professional. "Consumers can enter their Zip Code and our system will pull up professionals in their area or they can complete our online request for information form and we'll connect them with a long term care insurance specialist," Slome suggests.
