REST is everywhere. You may have consumed RESTful APIs before, but implementing your own can present unique design challenges. In this session, we'll start off with an overview of REST and why/how it's used. We'll quickly get into the basic principles of RESTful APIs, terminology, design patterns, data, pitfalls, best practices, and more. Finally, using test-driven development in JUnit, we'll implement a new RESTful web service from scratch in Java. Session scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2015 at 3:30 p.m.

Introduction to Leaflet.js for Interactive Maps - Brice McIver
Introduction to Leaflet.js, a JavaScript library for mobile-friendly interactive maps. This session will contain step-by-step instructions on how to add a map to your website and a primer on using GeoJSON objects to encode geographic data. Session scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2015 at 4:45 p.m.
