WatchTime March/April Cover Story: Testing the Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000

Deep Dive Redux: WatchTime’s exclusive review of the Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000.

New York, NY, February 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- America’s best-selling watch magazine, WatchTime, presents an in-depth, exclusive watch test of the Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000, written by WatchTime editor Jens Koch. The first Rolex Sea-Dweller debuted in 1967 as the Sea-Dweller Submariner 2000. It was styled after the iconic Rolex Submariner, which had been introduced in 1953, but the Sea-Dweller had a thicker case and a helium-escape valve. The Sea-Dweller ultimately reached a 4,000-foot (1,220-meter) depth rating before it was replaced in 2008 with the Rolex Deepsea, which is rated to 3,900 meters. Last year, due to popular request, Rolex brought the Sea-Dweller back, calling it the Sea-Dweller 4000 and adding a number of new features.

The experts at WatchTime put the new model through its paces in this comprehensive feature article, which includes complete specs on the watch and scores in various criteria, as well as original photos and insider information about this modern Rolex dive watch.

This full-length watch test feature of the Rolex Sea-Dweller 4000 is the cover story of the upcoming March/April issue of WatchTime, on sale March 17. For those who don’t want to wait for the print issue, WatchTime is now offering the complete article - including all specs and scores - as a special, downloadable edition for $2.99.
