Dialing Innovations Builds Tier III Data Center to Support Growing Demands

Dialing Innovations, a global provider of telecommunications software and services, constructs its own Tier III data center to meet market demands by designing a more efficient, ecological, and secured colocation.

Indianapolis, IN, March 03, 2015 --( Dialing Innovations announces the activation of its newly self-constructed Tier III data center in the company’s mixed-use building headquarters to address the increasing market demand for outsourced data centers, hosting, and cloud services.

Founder Derrick Christy and Josh VonHauger built the data center at Dialing Innovations in order to provide customers with world-class colocation, co-connectivity, and managed services. The Tier III data center has unique advantages and features to specifically support cloud services, call center applications, and phone systems making it one of the only data centers of its kind in Greenwood, Indiana.

“We are very excited to launch a Tier III data center that was built for providing a variety of telecommunication solutions,” said VonHauger. “Our data center provides Software-defined Networking (SDN) capability that give full network control to our customers to self-monitor usage on demand that is scaled to their needs.”

In addition to allowing customers self-provisioning, the Tier III Data Center built by Dialing Innovations meets and exceeds all requirements set forth by both the Telecommunications Industry Association and Uptime Institute. This is evident in the “four nines” availability of services which delivers a higher availability and less downtime maintenance requirements than the standard Tier III data center. Customers using the data center of Dialing Innovations are able to better measure their return on investment and performance because of the unlimited run time, average downtime of one minute per week, and robust battery monitoring within the power protection infrastructure.

“Our Tier III data center facility is based on N+1 and 2N redundant power, environmental controls, and state-of-the-art security,” said VonHauger. “Other key features such as architectural flexibility and modularity are critical to allowing our data center the possibility of future expansion.”

The data center created by Dialing Innovations has indefinite run time that utilizes more environmentally-friendly on-site natural gas generators that burn cleaner and don’t require the use of diesel or other more harmful fuels. The company also plans on incorporating solar energy into the center’s power source as another ecological advantage. The facility includes innovative biometrics and motion sensor technologies, as well as continuous monitoring of the equipment and HVAC controls. The data center’s multiple certifications, guaranteed uptime, and technologies provide customers of Dialing Innovations with the assurance that requirements for compliance and security are met.
