Canning Vale, Australia, March 06, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- Imagine being taken away from the hustle and bustle of daily life into a traffic-free, self-contained rural village. Now, imagine the energy and spirit of 100 world musical acts that will perform at an annual family-friendly celebration of folk and world music. This is the Fairbridge Festival 2015, Western Australia’s best-kept secret that has been a cult destination for over 20 years and is a mere one hour’s drive from central Perth. Come for the weekend and enjoy the event with help from Getaway Outdoors camping shops in Perth from 10 April to 12 April 2015.
The very first Fairbridge Festival was staged in 1992 by Max Klubal and Sally Grice, both committee members of the West Australian Folk Federation (WAFF) and in charge of a long-standing festival in the country town of Toodyay. Max and Sally recognised the potential of the Fairbridge site and convinced the WAFF to give it a go.
Ever since becoming a not-for-profit association in 1996, the Fairbridge Festival has stayed true to its mission of catering to a family audience, and presents some of the biggest children’s and youth programs in the continent today.
Getaway Outdoors, being a major sponsor of the Fairbridge Festival, will field a team of experienced Getaway Angels to assist camping visitors in organising their campsites for the weekend. In addition, joining hands with Coleman Australia, Getaway Outdoors will provide an area complete with tents and camp beds, enabling guests to simply drop their bags and get straight into the spirit of the event with the ever popular cosy camping.
If this is not for you, make sure you come prepared with the best camping gear in Perth to make sure you can focus all your energy on having a great time for the entire weekend. You will be sure not to miss a thing. For details about the festival and other information, please visit www.GetAwayOutdoors.com.au.
