LightPointe Wireless Enhances U.S. and Canada Channel Support, as Company Ramps Up Production of New Millimeter Wave Bridges

LightPointe adds Jeff Majeski as Director of North America Channel Sales, Preparing for Product Launch and Enhanced Sales and Support in USA and Canada

San Diego, CA, March 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- LightPointe, the number one manufacturer of hybrid wireless bridges used for outdoor point-to-point communications, announced that Jeff Majeski has joined the company as Director of North America Channel Sales. The position adds to LightPointe’s existing sales team and is timed with the company’s forthcoming launch of a major new category of performance and value-leading wireless bridges it has developed primarily for Value Added Distributors (VAR) and their resellers. The new product series, which will complement LightPointe’s current product lines, will be announced and displayed at the CeBIT (Germany) and IWCE (Las Vegas) tradeshows running simultaneously beginning March 16th.

“Jeff is a great fit for this position, which is designed to increase LightPointe’s support of US and Canadian distributors and resellers,” said John Taylor, vice president of sales for LightPointe. “Jeff has previously successfully sold LightPointe products at other companies, and already has excellent relationships with domestic wireless partners and customers. This will be a huge benefit to LightPointe and its North American customer base as we introduce an additional, very exciting product category to our wireless mix next month.”

Mr. Majeski previously worked for telecom companies including Qwest Communications, AirBand Communications, and Crystal Communications. In addition, he has worked with utility and energy companies in business development and sales functions.

“Since I have previously sold—as one of LightPointe’s channel partners— LightPointe’s wireless bridges to a broad base of satisfied North American customers, I’m very excited to actually join the LightPointe team and leverage this experience in support of additional channel partners which are very interested in picking up LightPointe’s 2015 product line,” said Jeff Majeski, director of North American sales for LightPointe. “One of the partners which has already expressed interest in adding new LightPointe products is Mercury Networks, Inc.”

Patrick Mattos, founder and owner of Mercury Networks, said, “LightPointe’s AireBridge has the most seamless failover feature I have ever experienced in all my applications of wireless bridging technologies. It will be great having access to this and other products, and gaining the support of a trusted industry veteran such as Jeff Majeski.”

LightPointe’s solutions will be on display at the CeBIT IT tradeshow March 16 through 20 in Hannover, Germany (LightPointe booth, Hall 13, D89).
