Greenest St. Patrick's Day Bash at Mulligans Irish Pub in Tampa

Tampa, FL, March 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Green beer flows along with Irish Music, Irish Food and Prizes this month at the St. Patrick’s Day Bash at award-winning Mulligans Irish Pub at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in Tampa all day Tuesday, March 17. Last year, over 1,000 Irish-at-heart showed up for Guinness, Corned Beef & Cabbage, dancing, kid’s activities, the Mulligans Cup Golf Tournament and other festivities.

Mulligans offers a huge venue open to all with an original Irish Pub, a banquet room for 200 overlooking the golf course, a covered outdoor veranda with tables for 100, and another seating for 100 in a courtyard under 60-year-old grandfather oaks. It’s all part of Pebble Creek Golf Club and makes for the prettiest and “greenest” setting you will find for a fun, family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day.

Another big attraction besides all-day flowing Green Beer, $3.50 16 oz. Bud Lights in Green Aluminum Bottles and cold $5 Guinness Pints is a tasty Irish Buffet starting at 4pm with Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, and Bangers & Mash offered for $14 ($6 for kids). “In the course of a day, we will go through over 100 pounds of corned beef,” says Proprietor Matt Downey. “We will also offer a limited Pub menu for lighter appetites. As part of a Golf Club, we are used to hosting large crowds, and our chef has perfected his corned beef & cabbage recipe over the years.”

The food and fun begins at noon on Tuesday 3/17. Mickey Lorden plays from 3 to 6pm. The Colvin Brothers play Irish and popular tunes from 6 to 11pm. For extra fun, there is a bounce house and face painters for the kids from 4 to 8pm. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes, and Irish party favors given away. There is a $5 cover charge after 4pm, and kids under 12 are free. Pets are welcome, too! The Mulligans Irish Pub at Wentworth Golf Club in Tarpon Springs will also hold a similar St. Patrick’s Day Bash.

On the Sunday 3/15 prior to St. Pats, the 3rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Tournament is open to all starting at noon. The tournament is a 2-person team scramble format. The $50 entry fee includes an Irish Buffet, 2 free beers, and lots of contests and prizes. Call 813 973-3870 x6 or stop by the Pub to sign up.
