Atlanta Rocker Joins Fight Against Child Heart Disease

Atlanta, GA, March 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Farsyde Entertainment artist, Marco Restrepo announced last week via social media plans to donate a portion of proceeds from his newest album Lonely Hearts Club to The Children’s Heart Foundation upon its March 13th, 2015 release. “Considering the title of my new project,” Marco wrote, “it’s only right that I give back to the ones whose hearts are truly in need.”

The Children’s Heart Foundation, established in 1996, has long committed to being the front runner in the war on children’s heart disease. With nearly one in every one hundred babies born with potentially fatal congenital heart disease, (The Children's Heart Foundation) it has become an overlooked pandemic as the world’s lead birth defect that deserves recognition.

Marco, known for poignant and reflective lyrics, stated that he hoped his upcoming collection of love songs would not only be therapeutic for the lonely but could also aid in bringing attention to the important issue at hand.
