Kaelus Launches New iVA Cable & Antenna Analyzer

Centennial, CO, March 12, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Kaelus announced today the formal market launch of its new iVA Series Cable & Antenna Analyzer and that the company is accepting orders for the product this week. The light weight (1.4 lbs.), hand-held unit enables users to accurately measure VSWR/return loss and the location of the return loss faults in their RF infrastructure. The wireless connectivity allows greater measurement flexibility and opens up new possibilities in sweep testing and multi-port testing.

The iVA is a rugged, battery-operated module that can be remotely controlled with any Bluetooth-enabled tablet, smart phone, laptop computer, or any Kaelus iPA Series Portable PIM Analyzer. The iVA can connect directly to the device under test, eliminating the need for a phase stable cable in most cases. The intuitive software interface enables users to generate and complete test reports on site, no need for post-site processing. The iVA includes an advanced geo-tagging feature which allows users to plot all test measurements taken on a Google Map and include in the test site report.

“The iVA is a real game changer in site certification sweep testing,” said Rick Hartman, President of North American Operations and Product Line Director of Test & Measurement at Kaelus. “The iVA provides all of the test capabilities required by the operators for site certification of return loss. It is rugged and built for purpose. And, the small size allows the user to attach directly to the device under test, thereby eliminating the need for a phase stable cable. The response to the iVA has been overwhelmingly positive.”
