Rays of the Absolute - Nisargadatta Maharaj's Only Legacy? Direct Disciple of Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramakant Maharaj, is a Living Self-Realized Master.

Nisargadatta Maharaj's legacy continues through Ramakant Maharaj.

Palo Alto, CA, April 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Rays of the Absolute, the Legacy of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, a docu-film on this Master was released a few days ago by SAND, (Science & NonDuality). It is a reminder, not only of this Jnani's greatness, but also of his power to enable the shift from disciple to Master in earnest seekers. This simply mirrors the astonishing results of his own Master, Siddharameshwar Maharaj, before him.

The timing could not be more perfect, as Nisargadatta Maharaj's legacy continues through yet another 'Ray of the Absolute', namely, Sri Ramakant Maharaj. A new book of Spontaneous Direct Knowledge entitled, "Selfless Self: Talks with Shri Ramakant Maharaj" is due to be published within the next few days.

Spiritual heavyweight, Alan Jacobs, President of Ramana Maharshi Foundation, U.K, and author and poet, had this to say: "Selfless Self is a marvellous, outstanding book that will help many of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj's followers and others. I greatly admire the content. Wonderful! I have no doubt about Sri Ramakant Maharaj being a Jnani, (Self-Realized Master)."

Further commendation came from another big name in the spiritual landscape: Timothy Conway, of Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A. He has been a teacher of Advaita spirituality for 30 years, and is also the author of Women of Power and Grace. Speaking about the book, he said: “The Teachings of Sri Ramakant Maharaj bear the stamp of complete authenticity and the power to awaken aspirants to innate Awareness. A beautiful book emerging within the Divine Dream.”

Sri Ramakant Maharaj was initiated into the Inchegiri Navnath Sampradaya, by his Master, Nisargadatta Maharaj, on 2nd October 1962. He attended Satsangs daily for nineteen years, and was present at his Master's Mahasamadhi on 8th September 1981.

The editor, Ann Shaw said: “I Am That, published in the seventies, brought the search to an end for many seekers. Now, more than forty years later, 'Selfless Self' is being welcomed as the book to end all books.”

Ramakant Maharaj's approach is radical and absolute: “You have read all the books, but have you read the reader? Did you read any spiritual books prior to beingness?” “Selfless Self” offers a fresh, simple, clear and totally pragmatic approach to Advaita Vedanta and nonduality.

Nisargadatta Maharaj, and his Master, Siddharameshwar Maharaj, and also Ganapatrao, Bainath, Ranjit, Kadsiddeshwar, Ranade, Amburao Maharajas and many other self-realized Masters, both known and unknown, continue to emerge from this same illustrious lineage, namely the Inchegiri Navnath Sampradaya. For over a decade, Ramakant Maharaj has been introducing students, devotees and disciples from around the world to these timeless teachings, and initiating some of them into the Lineage.

“I am sharing the same Knowledge that my Master, Nisargadatta Maharaj, shared with me,” says Ramakant Maharaj. The Inchegiri lineage is alive and well! Its legacy of teachings continues from Master to Master, from successor to successor. The teachings are the same, only their expression is different.

Selfless Self exemplifies the innermost teachings of this lineage, expressed as never before in simple and down-to-earth language. A beacon of truth.
