Melissa Abramovitz is in the Author Showcase at the National Writing for Children Center

The National Writing for Children Center is a showcase of children’s book authors and illustrators. This month, the NWFCC presents Melissa Abramovitz in its showcase.

Jensen Beach, FL, April 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Melissa Abramovitz is an award-winning, versatile author/writer who enjoys writing for all age groups, from preschoolers through adults. While she specializes in nonfiction magazine articles and educational books on health topics, she also writes on a variety of other topics, including science, nature, and history. She has published some fiction and poetry as well, and has written several rhyming children's picture books.

Melissa is the author of hundreds of magazine articles for all age groups and more than 40 educational books for children and teens. Her book for writers, A Treasure Trove of Opportunity: How to Write and Sell Articles for Children's Magazines, was released by E and E Publishing in 2012, and her children's picture books, ABC's of Health and Safety & Helping Herbie Hedgehog were published by Guardian Angel Publishing in 2012 and 2015.
