Illinois Amber Alert Issued for Makayla Anne Christy (Age 5 Years)

Springfield, IL, January 30, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Granite City, Illinois Police Department have confirmed that a child abduction has occurred at 3202 Kilarney in Granite City, Illinois 

Taken was Makayla Anne Christy, Female,White, 5 Years Old, 2'5" Tall, Weight - 41 Lbs. with Shoulder Length Brown Hair and Brown Eyes. She is wearing a black t-shirt with "Pink" writing saying "I'm not perfect but I am always right" and khaki capri pants. 

Police believe they may be headed to Texas. IN PARTICULAR, ANYONE LIVING IN OR TRAVELING THROUGH IL, MO, OK, AR and TX SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THESE PERSONS AND VEHICLE. The most direct route from Madison County, Illinois, toward Texas is along Interstate 44 West.
