Aging Adults Free Seminar May 14, 2015

The National Association of Geriatric Care Managers, certified care manager, Bridget Ritossa, LSW of Cleveland will host a free seminar at 6:30 p.m on May 14 at the Beachwood library branch. The seminar, “Aging Adults and Common Sense,” will cover topics such as how to make the best use of time with a doctor, medication management, senior housing options and how geriatric care managers can help senior adults.

Bridget Ritossa, member of The National Association of Geriatric Care Managers and Founder of Careplan Geriatric Care Managers LLC will participate in National Geriatric Care Manager Month™ Month by hosting an educational event at Cuyahoga County Beachwood Public Library, 22501 Shaker Blvd., on May 14th at 6:30pm.

Ritossa, a resident of Cleveland since 1969, has been an Care Manager for 28 years and focuses her practice on wellness for older adults, more specifically keeping them safe in their homes for as long as possible.

Certified Care Managers provide guidance and advocacy for families who are caring for older relatives or disabled adults. With a specialized focus on issues related to aging, she assists clients with the challenges of aging, such as finding appropriate housing, in-home care, referrals to medical providers or elder law attorneys, as well as the advocacy and support that provides families peace of mind.
