Micralyne Appoints Alan Richards as New Vice President of Operations

Micralyne Inc., a world leading independent MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) microfabrication company, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alan Richards as the new Vice President of Operations.

Edmonton, Canada, November 22, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Micralyne Inc., a world leading independent MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems) microfabrication company, today announced the appointment of Mr. Alan Richards as the new Vice President of Operations. Alan is replacing Len Friedenberg, who will be retiring as VP Operations after more than 20 years with Micralyne.

Alan brings to Micralyne a broad background in semiconductor operations management, having worked in many organizations in North America and Europe. Most recently, Alan was Vice President Operations at SMART Technologies, and before that held senior management positions at Gennum Corporation. Prior to these two positions, Alan spent 17 years combined in operations management at Intel and SGS Thomson.

Micralyne is rapidly expanding its MEMS manufacturing operations and serves companies in several industry sectors in North America, Europe and Asia.
