Eye Columbus to Announce the Opening of Its 3rd Location in Columbus

Columbus, OH, April 09, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Eye Columbus, a premier source for eyewear and eyecare, proudly announced the opening of their third location in Columbus. The new location will be in New Albany and its opening is expected to take place in May, 2015. Eye Columbus also wishes to inform that the space they will be occupying is the one that Lenscrafters has previously occupied in the Chestnut Hill shopping center on N. Hamilton Road.

Lenscrafters has recently closed is store situated in New Albany, to be specific 5081 N. Hamilton Road, last March 2015. The company closed its store in the location with minimal notice to the staff and doctors, and to the patients. The closing of the store led to Eye Columbus deciding on taking the place. After taking care of all the necessities, the company eventually came to terms with the landlord of the places. Now, the space previously occupied by Lenscrafters will now become Eye Columbus’s third optical office which will soon open on May, 2015. The availability of the new optical office in the area allows the residents to take advantage of the same level of visual care Eye Columbus’s clients have enjoyed receiving for years.

Dr. Linda Dawson, who has been practicing inside the Lenscrafters at Chestnut Hill Eye Care since 2005, has decided to join Eye Columbus so she can continue to see patients at the same convenient location the patients are familiar with.

The expected opening of new Eye Columbus store in New Albany is on May 10, 2015. Hence, the company is now using the entire month of April to take care of the new location’s needs. Eye Columbus aims to have the renovated finished by then so all the previous clients they have can still be served at the same location. The new optical office will still be offering full optical services, which includes eye exams and eye glass dispensary.

The closing of the Lenscrafters store happened so quickly that most of the involved people, like staff and customers, were not informed much about it. The scheduled opening of Eye Columbus’s new office gives the guarantee that the previous patients can still have access their medical eye health records, as well as access to the same doctor keeping a high continuity of care.

Eye Columbus is based in Columbus, Ohio. It is a leading independent eyecare facility providing all eyewear related products and accessories, including contact lenses, sunglasses and glasses both in store and online.

“We are very happy for this opportunity and to have Dr. Dawson joining our team at Eye Columbus. She’s such a great doctor and a great person. It’s a great thing when we can allow patients to keep seeing the same doctor they trust and have a relationship with.” – Dr. Craig Miller
