Compass Behavioral Health Picks LWSI to Support Behavioral Healthcare Services in Multi-County Agency

Little Rock, AR, April 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Compass Behavioral Health has selected Essentia™ electronic health records (EHR) software from Lavender & Wyatt Systems, Inc. (LWSI) to improve patient outcomes and lower costs.

Compass Behavioral Health provides comprehensive mental health services including outpatient, inpatient, substance abuse treatment and children’s services. Based in Garden City, the agency serves 13 counties in Southwest Kansas.

“Providing comprehensive behavioral health services to a multi-county area requires efficiencies for both clinicians and administrative staff. LWSI’s experience in behavioral healthcare and its proven product make them the optimal EHR partner for Compass. We are impressed with the ease that we can configure Essentia to our needs and it is going to allow us to facilitate care coordination with the new Health Home model,” said Ric Dalke, Compass Behavioral Health Executive Director.

Compass Behavioral Health will be utilizing the full functionality of Essentia, including integrated financials, clinical health records, human resources and payroll. “With Essentia, we have a single system handling everything, so we don’t have the cost and management burden of managing multiple systems that don’t always play well together,” said Dalke.

Randy Ready, LWSI Chief Operating Officer, said, “Agencies like Compass are helping to transform behavioral health by using technology to drive better patient care and a better financial outcome for their organization. We’re very pleased to be their partner in supporting their growth and their quality of care.”
