2015 R. Gene Richter Scholarship Recipients Announced

Ann Arbor, MI, April 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation, in partnership with the Institute for Supply Management™ (ISM) have recognized the following eight students as being the 2015 recipients of the premiere R. Gene Richter Scholarship Award:

Matthew Christiansen - Duquesne University
Kevin Cronin - Michigan State University
Shanan Din - University of South Carolina
Jenna Fischer - Penn State University
Erika Mionis - Arizona State University
Marchela Stancheva - Rutgers University
Emily Socha - Bryant University
Samuel Setiawan - Michigan State University

Winners of the R. Gene Richter Scholarship are awarded tuition assistance of $5,000 (December graduates will be awarded $2,500). In addition, Richter Scholars are enrolled in a mentoring program where they are paired with an established executive in the field. Recipients will attend the Annual International Supply Management Conference in May sponsored by ISM in Phoenix, AZ.

The purpose of the program is to identify the future leaders of supply chain management and fast-track those students into the profession through a program of tuition assistance, executive mentoring, junior mentoring and networking through presentation at the ISM International Annual Conference and participation in the ISM Center for Strategic Supply Leadership (CSSL) symposium a year after college graduation.
