Leading Bahamian designer fashion boutiques, Cole's of Nassau and Morley for Men, join forces to host a first of its kind evening fashion show and live auction in aid of The Ranfurly Homes for Children at the Old Fort Bay Club in Nassau, The Bahamas.

New Providence, Bahamas, The, April 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Leading Bahamian designer fashion boutiques, Cole’s of Nassau and Morley for Men, join forces to host a first of it’s kind evening Fashion Show and Live Auction in aid of The Ranfurly Homes for Children at the Old For Bay Club at seven o’clock on the 14th of April, 2015.

The supremely landscaped outdoor location plays well with the show’s given theme, aptly titled ‘Tropic Splendour’. Lush poincianas and palms swaying to the sound of popular island jams spun by a live DJ, and an inviting oceanfront breeze welcome you to the historic Old Fort Bay Club. Wildflowers Events & Occasions further enhance the natural beauty of the venue, providing décor, lighting and center pieces for the evening.

For the first time in their long-standing lineage of charity fashion show events, Cole’s of Nassau invites attendees to enjoy an evening filled with abundant cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and entertainment followed by a live auction, raffle drawing, and dancing under the stars. An all star lineup of sponsors includes: fashion show hair and make-up donated by professional local artists and a steady flow of libations provided by Liquid Courage, Bristol Wines & Spirits, John Watling’s, Turtle Vodka, and Young’s Champagne.

Fitting with the theme of the show, the event will showcase the latest in Spring fashion from Cole’s of Nassau and Morley for Men. Top designers will include the likes of Emilio Pucci, Missoni, Mara Hoffman, Camilla, Clover Canyon, Hugo Boss, Paul & Shark, Love Brand and Vineyard Vines.

The Ranfurly Homes for Children is a foundation that Cole’s of Nassau is more than proud to assist; having been a safe haven for thousands of Bahamian children since 1956. The idea for the home originated as a result of a mid 1950's fire in downtown Nassau. When Lady Hermoine Ranfurly, wife of the then Governor General, discovered a group of homeless children sleeping in cardboard boxes in buildings and alleys. Just six months after securing a spacious property on Mackey St., the patrons and caregivers at Ranfurly welcomed the first residents into their full time care. Since then, the Home provides a safe, structured environment for children who have been orphaned, abused, neglected or abandoned.

The proceeds collected from the event will aid in maintaining the efforts set out by The Ranfurly Homes for Children and of Lady Hermoine Ranfurly herself. Without support provided by such charity events, the functionality of the Home would be severely affected and its mission even more difficult to uphold. To ensure the future success of the home, Cole’s of Nassau & Morley for Men welcome you to join them in their philanthropic efforts to support Lady Ranfurly’s legacy of laughter, love and kindness.
