Parma Lapidary Hosts It's 47th Annual Rock-a-Rama Jewelry Arts, Rock, and Gem Show May 16th and 17th, at the Soccer Sportsplex

Cleveland, OH, April 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Cleveland’s Jewelry Arts, gem, fossil, bead, and mineral show will return to the Soccer Sportsplex, 31515 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted Ohio, on Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). This year the 47th annual Rock-a-Rama will feature over 30 dealers, many of them new to Cleveland, Ohio. The dealers possess an incredible amount of knowledge regarding the geological, gemological, and paleontological sciences and will be able to assist in your selections. They will have available for purchase a huge selection of unique minerals, gems, fossils, beads, and handcrafted jewelry gifts in all price ranges.

Throughout the weekend there will be display cases and demonstrations of the jewelry and lapidary arts by the Parma Lapidary Club. There is also a Kid’s Corner where kids can sift sand and find gems while wearing mining gear, and also a fishing pond, lions head grab bag, and dice toss games. Special programs on Sunday will include a fossil presentation (11a to 12p) featuring museum quality fossils millions of years old, and a vintage jewelry identification expert (12p to 2p), who give you a verbal estimate of value (limit two pieces) for your jewelry pieces.

Admission for this indoor event is $6 for adults (good for both days), and is free for children under 12, and free for Scouts in uniform. There will be door prizes and raffles all weekend long. Food will be available for purchase on site and parking is free. For additional information visit Parma Lapidary on the web.
