)-- Cleveland’s Jewelry Arts, gem, fossil, bead, and mineral show will return to the Soccer Sportsplex, 31515 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted Ohio, on Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th (10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). This year the 47th annual Rock-a-Rama will feature over 30 dealers, many of them new to Cleveland, Ohio. Throughout the weekend there will be display cases and demonstrations of the jewelry and lapidary arts by the Parma Lapidary Club. There is also a Kid’s Corner where kids can sift sand and find gems while wearing mining gear, and also a fishing pond, lions head grab bag, and dice toss games. Special programs on Sunday will include a fossil presentation (11a to 12p) featuring museum quality fossils millions of years old, and a vintage jewelry identification expert (12p to 2p), who give you a verbal estimate of value (limit two pieces) for your jewelry pieces.
Admission for this indoor event is $6 for adults (good for both days), and is free for children under 12, and free for Scouts in uniform. There will be door prizes and raffles all weekend long.
