Fort Lauderdale, FL, November 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Salvatore Principe is all heart. The award winning artist is known for his unique heart giclees and paintings. His “Timeless Heart Collection”, represented by his original paintings and limited edition reproductions expresses tangible love, vibrant emotion, and tender hope – all emotions that parents of premature babies feel.

And to help raise funds for the tiniest babies, Sal will be appearing at an upcoming fundraiser for The Sydney & Alexandria Cohen Foundation, on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Blue Martini, 2432 East Sunrise Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale from 7:30pm-9:30pm.

The Sydney & Alexandria Cohen Foundation is a nonprofit charity founded by Plantation residents Brian and Jennifer Cohen to honor and celebrate their twin daughters who were born at 31 weeks gestation. At birth, Sydney weighed 3 lbs. 3 oz and Alexandria weighed 2 lbs. 14 oz... The girls spent the first five weeks of their lives at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines.

Today, they are healthy and happy four-year-olds, with no complications from having been born so early. In an effort to show their extreme gratitude, Brian and Jennifer are raising $60,000 to donate two state-of-the-art incubators back to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit to help future premature babies have the best chance for survival.

“We wanted to do something that will help many premature babies year over year,” said Jennifer. “We are so very fortunate that our daughters are healthy and we want to ‘pay it forward’. We greatly appreciate the support of Blue Martini, Partida Tequila and Salvatore Principe for this event.”

Salvatore Principe’s famous heart paintings will be available for purchase -- just in time for Valentine’s Day. Sal has generously offered to donate a portion of all sales to The Sydney & Alexandria Cohen Foundation.

A suggested donation of $25 per person will include one free Partida Margarita and appetizers. The evening will also feature a silent auction. Donated items for the silent auction are currently being accepted.

Owners of Sal’s original works include Donald Trump, Nicole Miller, Adam Sandler, Gwen Stefani, Andy Roddick and the late Miles Davis to name a few. His art has graced the walls of Saks Fifth Avenue, Bendels, Bergdoff Goodman, The Trump Towers.
