Sarasota's Nuovo Salons Become Florida's Greenest Salons
Nuovo Salon Group recently moved its four salon locations to 100% pollution-free wind-powered electricity. The move makes Nuovo the first business in Sarasota, and one of only a handful in Florida, to be an Environmental Protection Agency Green Power Partner.
Nuovo recently moved its four salon locations to 100% pollution-free wind-powered electricity. Working with national Clean Energy provider Arcadia Power, the Aveda salon group now meets the Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Partnership requirements.
The action is another step in Nuovo’s dedication to green business practices. As Sarasota’s first Aveda Lifestyle Salon, Nuovo has always upheld Aveda’s commitment to natural, sustainably derived products and environmental responsibility. Nuovo salons are almost entirely paperless and use eco-friendly lighting, and with only filtered water coming into contact with guests and staff. Nuovo’s Earth Month 2015 initiatives include raffles for Aveda products and Nuovo services.
For Nuovo, making eco-friendly beautiful extends beyond the realm of hair. Their newest Cooper Creek location is outfitted with environmentally conscious and sustainable furnishings provided by the Eurisko Collection, whose manufacturing process recycles all byproducts.
