TPR currently publishes "International Archives of Otorhinolaryngology," the official journal of Fundação Otorrinolaringologia. The first book published under this new partnership is "Tratado de Implante Coclear e Proteses Implantáveis" by Dr. Ricardo Bento, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Fundação Otorrinolaringologia.
Fundação Otorrinolaringologia (FORL) was established in August 1995 and works with institutions that are dedicated to teaching, research and preventive care for ENT diseases. This organization aims to encourage scientific research as well as professional development in the areas of ENT, speech therapy, nursing, psychology, and occupational therapy. FORL provides services that meet the needs of the Brazilian community by developing important preventive and curative campaigns for ENT diseases each year.
Dr. Ricardo Bento commented:
“This partnership clearly shows the international growth of FORL as well as the increasing worldwide recognition of the ENT specialty in Brazil. The combined efforts of Thieme and FORL will have a powerful impact on the Brazilian ENT community, bringing high-level, expert medical information to more regions of the country and helping ENT specialists sharpen their skills and improve patient care.”
