The Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) invites secondary school teachers in the Richmond area to participate in CEE’s Teacher Enrichment Program Teacher Roundtable. TEP Teacher Roundtables serve as a forum for secondary school STEM educators to engage and network with leaders in STEM fields.

The panel of three speakers at this event will include:
· Meredith Allin, Senior Lead Engineer, Food & Beverage Packaging, MeadWestvaco
· Rosalyn Hobson Hargraves, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, School of Engineering, Virginia Commonwealth University
· Hollee Freeman, Ph.D., Director, MathScience Innovation Center

The panel “Pathways to Richmond STEM Careers” will focus on the many different ways students can find fulfilling and meaningful careers in high-need STEM fields. The aim of the Roundtable is to help teachers inspire and motivate students by showing them how many 21st century STEM possibilities are “out there” for them. The speakers will provide information on local STEM career opportunities for students, speakers’ experiences in their fields, and the ways in which teachers can excite students about STEM careers and help guide them as they make future plans.
