AOK Records Lauds the Release of Hot New Country Artist, Kelsey Cate

Nashville, TN, May 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- AOK Records has announced the signing of Kodak, TN native, Kelsey Cate. Kelsey's debut single was released to radio on April 21st, focusing on the Music Row panel, is entitled "Dishes." The song was written by AOK owner, Adam Knight, and produced at Trinity Music City in Hendersonville, TN featuring legendary studio musicians, such as Michael Douchette, Trey Hensley, Bobby Osborne Jr., and Mark Beckett, along with Knight.

17 year-old, Kelsey Cate, is being quickly recognized as a rising force to be reckoned with. AOK Records President, Adam Knight states, "Kelsey's voice hearkens back to the soul of Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline, while offering the power of Martina McBride."

Kelsey will be attending Belmont University, in Nashville, TN, in the Fall, as she pursues a future in the music industry. Her hobbies, typical of a 17 year old girl, are hanging out at the lake, playing the piano, and learning to play piano.

Her first performances, like many successful artists, were at church. Since that time, she has appeared at many regional fairs, festivals, and showcases. Kelsey recently received rave reviews at the North American Country Music Association International meeting, in Pigeon Forge, TN. She offered the country classic, The Tennessee Waltz.

Cate names country classics, such as Lynn & Cline, as her influences, as well as Southern Gospel greats, such as Jason Crabb and Lauren Talley.
