Rue Education Announces Over $20,000,000 in Scholarships to be Awarded in May
In celebration of Nurse’s Week 2015, over twenty million dollars in scholarships will be awarded to individuals to go towards their RN education through Rue’s RN Bridge.
Clearwater, FL, May 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Rue Education wants to celebrate Nurse’s Week 2015 in a big way this year. They will be awarding over $20,000,000 in scholarships throughout May. These scholarships are awarded to assist individuals in pursuing their RN education and ASN degree through Rue Education’s RN Bridge Program. Scholarships will be awarded to eligible recipients whom receive email communication from Rue Education. Individuals that do not receive email or are not current prospective clients may request to be eligible for a scholarship over the phone or online.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median salary from 2012 of Registered Nurses was $65,470. RN jobs are expected to grow by 19% from 2012-2022, which is faster than the national average for all other occupations. The number of jobs added within this period is over 525,000. For those looking to pursue a career in nursing, the entry-level education for RNs is an Associate’s degree. The advantage of a 2-year degree requirement means prospective nurses can utilize fast-track RN programs such as Rue Education to quickly and conveniently complete their RN education. This scholarship is designed as a stepping stone to help prospective RNs take the next step in their education.
Scholarship details:
Qualified recipients are eligible – LPN/LVNs, Respiratory Therapists, and Paramedics are currently the only qualified recipients of the Rue Education Scholarship.
Awarded throughout May – Eligible recipients whom have requested information and receive email communication will be notified through email if they have been selected as a scholarship recipient.
Unclaimed scholarships – In the unlikely event that a scholarship goes unclaimed, the scholarship amount will go back into the available pool to be awarded to candidates that are established between May 5th and May 31st, 2015. This way, eligible recipients won’t be left out if they were established after scholarships are initially awarded.
