Cool Off This Summer with an Arizona Wet Canyoneering Adventure Organized by 360 Adventures

Participants will find themselves hiking, wading, boulder hopping, rappelling, swimming and scrambling through slot canyons.

Phoenix, AZ, May 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Although canyoneering is not new, it has been growing in popularity in the past few years. When temperatures heat up in the Phoenix area this summer, a great way to cool off and have a new adventure is wet canyoneering.

“Arizona is like no other area for canyoneering because of our amazing geography, and our wet canyons are spectacular,” says Bruce Leadbetter, owner of Phoenix-based 360 Adventures, a guide service and travel expert for people who like to climb, ride, hike and explore.

On a wet canyoneering adventure, group members will find themselves hiking, wading, boulder hopping, rappelling, swimming and scrambling through Arizona’s slot canyons. Some of the locations for wet canyoneering in Arizona include Salome, Parker and Christopher Creek.

Based on your skills and the type of adventure you want to have, 360 Adventures will plan your wet canyoneering trip and take care of all of the details—permits, transportation from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, snacks, water, all gear including wet suits, safety equipment, and experienced and skilled guides. The season for wet canyoneering runs from April through October.

“We take the worry and work out of finding the right adventure for you and planning every detail for you and your group,” says Leadbetter. “All you have to do is show up and have fun!”

Leadbetter, who has been leading outdoor trips since he was 14, started the company in 1992 after graduation from Arizona State University. He and his wife/partner Tina Behrens are passionate about sharing the joy of discovery with all of their guests.

“We put together trips for people from all over the world who want to experience Arizona,” Leadbetter says. “The groups include families, friends, work associates for team building, singles and couples.”
