ServerHub Introduces the Intel Xeon D Processor Family to It's Dedicated Server Platform

"This processor is groundbreaking and Intel truly closes the gap between the E3 and E5 Processor. The true answer between the two processors is Xeon D," - said John Brancela CEO of ServerHub.

Henderson, NV, May 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- ServerHub, a privately held Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider that specializes in dedicated server and cloud based virtualization applications, today announced along with Eonix Communications, a privately held Co-Location and High Availability Transit Provider, today announced availability of the Intel Xeon D Processor family into the ServerHub Dedicated Server product line, making ServerHub one of the first providers to offer the new processor into the hosting and IaaS community.

ServerHub carefully researches and considers new technologies and processors that are selected for sale to the ServerHub community. When the decision was made to carry the new Intel Xeon D 1540 processor it was a true slam dunk, the Xeon D 1540 is based on the new Intel Broadwell chipset, and features 8 core processing power vs the mainstream Intel E3 4 core processor configuration. The Xeon D processor is also lower cost alternative compared to the E5 processors, which at 8 core carry a considerably higher TCO rate compared to this new version, the price of the processor does not reflect performance, as the Intel Xeon D series bridges the gap, allowing up to 128GB of DDR4 memory making this processor the preferred processor for web servers, VPS/Virtualization Service Providers and users who need increased performance without the higher price tag of the E5 processor.

“We’re extremely impressed with the Intel Xeon D processor family, and we are extremely excited to welcome the new processor family into our Dedicated Server. When we reviewed the overall specifications of this offering compared to some of the “Status Quo” servers, the decision was clear. This processor is groundbreaking and Intel truly closes the gap between the E3 and E5 Processor. The true answer between the two processors is Xeon D,” Said John Brancela Chief Executive Officer of ServerHub.
